Location: Silver Springs Recreation Center-- 1951 Silver Springs Pkwy, Henderson, NV 89074. We will meet on the path between the tennis courts and the outdoor pool.
Description: Come explore Pittman Wash with Red Rock Audubon and get to know your common suburban birds. As we observe birds, we'll use field guides and apps to review some bird ID techniques like looking at habitat, size and shape, field marks, and behavior. Pittman Wash is a wildlife corridor for birds and other wildlife in Las Vegas, so we will see how they use this habitat. All are welcome at this event, regardless of skill level or experience.
