Beginner Birding at the Henderson Bird Viewing Preserve - Red Rock Audubon

Join us for a birding event at the Henderson Bird Viewing Preserve

It is home to thousands of migratory waterfowl as well as numerous resident desert birds. There are nine ponds available for birding, surrounded by both paved and soft surfaces. The paved path is approximately 3/4 of a mile long and is accessible by wheelchair. The soft surfaces are mostly level and allow for easy walking.

Registration: All participants must registered with Henderson Parks and Rec.

Safety: At this time, all events will adhere to the current safety requirements per the CDC and state and local directives. Please be respectful of participants' choices of wearing a mask and social distancing. As always, when birding in our arid climate please remember to bring enough water, protection from the sun, and snacks as needed for yourself.
