As we move into the future, the challenges to birds and their habitats continue to evolve. At the same time, so do the strategies for conservation. For our January meeting, Alex Harper will give a slideshow presentation to provide us with an overview of Southern Nevada’s bird populations, important bird areas, and approaches to conservation. Get up to date with the state of Pinyon Jays, thrasher habitat, and the resources that may inform our future activities.
