This event will be held at the Jo Marcy parcel of the Rainbow Owl Preserve, located at the corner of Jo Marcy and Rainbow Boulevard, near Gilcrease Orchard. Join us to help maintain a healthy habitat for burrowing owls. This is a collaborative effort between RRAS and US Fish and Wildlife to remove non-native weeds. You will learn how to identify non-native weeds and native plants as they emerge in the spring. Bring work gloves, a hoe or shovel, and water and snacks. Closed toe shoes and sun protection recommended. You may also get to view burrowing owls and learn about their burrows.
