Photo by Tabitha Kast On September 19th Red Rock Audubon held its 1st bird walk at Floyd Lamb Park (the first since the pandemic caused everything to shut down in the spring). Our "Socially Distanced Walk" was a success. Everyone wore masks and kept the recommended distance. Of course, the real success was great bird sightings. If you weren't able to attend, please enjoy these wonderful photos taken by Tabitha Kast. Upcoming Events for October will be posted to Facebook soon so keep an eye out and register a.s.a.p. Our bird walks have limited spaces available to ensure the safety of our participants and to keep within state guidelines and CDC recommendations.

Sounds like a wonderful time. I am not able to get out yet, but I have many photos of many beautiful bird species at Floyd Lamb. Wonderful birding site.
