Once again our members and friends will open their yards to you to show you what they are doing to support birds and other wildlife.
For example, this native sunflower from last year's tour attracted a number of pollinators which provided a food source for insect-eating birds. Its seeds in the fall provided food for our seed-eating friends. This plant is desert hardy and a beautiful addition to any landscape.
See plants like this and more on Sunday, April 19th from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. We are grateful to our gardeners for agreeing to the extended hours to allow more time for participants to travel from place to place.
Please sign up on our website through the link on our calendar or use the button below. The cost is $10 per person or $20 per carload. Children under the age of 18 are free. Funds collected will be used for school field trips to the Henderson Bird Viewing Preserve though our partnership with the Clark County School District. Written by Nancy Chang Photo by Nancy Chang
