Clark County Wetlands Park celebrated International Migratory Bird Day on March 28, 2018. Red Rock Audubon was there helping kids learn about birds in the area. The game was designed by Nancy Chang and kids have to put their hands or feet on the food a particular species of bird eats. Jim and Mary Switalla were also on hand to talk about projects RRAS supports like the Rainbow Burrowing Owl Preserve and the many other activities the club is involved in, like planting native plants at the Henderson Bird Viewing Preserve and creating a public park out of a bankrupt golf course in Pahrump.
Doug Chang led an early bird walk that attracted 28 participants. The event reached a total of over 500 guests.
