We often think about window strikes happening on buildings & homes. Any reflective surface can result in a window strike. Here you see a bird has struck a car window, parked outside, with the trees reflected very clearly. How can we prevent birds from striking car windows? - Whenever possible park in a garage or covered area.
- If you can't park in a garage, consider a cover for your car. - Visors/Shades with pictures & solid designs will reduce the images reflected back. - Stickers, of course, still work on car windows. If you have any other unique or new ideas, please do share here & share with your friends & family. Lets all work together to help protect our feathered friends! #BirdsTellUs #birdsafebuildings #windowstrikes #birdsoflasvegas #birdsofvegas#redrockaudubon #audubonactioncenter #audubon #audubonsociety Written by Amanda Rosewater Crinigan Photo by Nancy Chang of her neighbor's truck window
