Volunteer

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Red Rock Audubon! Our volunteers are at the heart of our mission to protect birds, their habitats, and the natural world we share.

VOLUNTEER NOW

We offer opportunities in three main areas:

Education & Outreach

sharing the joy of birds and nature with our community.

Stewardship & Restoration

caring for and improving habitats through hands-on work.

Science & Advocacy

contributing to conservation science and speaking up for wildlife.

Because many of our activities involve working with partners, following specific protocols, and accessing shared resources, we provide training and onboarding to set you up for success. This ensures that every volunteer feels confident, prepared, and aligned with our goals.

Some opportunities—like habitat cleanups, pruning, and removing non-native plants—require less preparation. These are a great way to jump in, meet fellow volunteers, and make a difference right away.

Whether you’re leading a bird walk, gathering scientific data, or picking up trash that threatens wildlife, you’ll be part of a team that works together to protect and restore our desert’s incredible biodiversity.

We can’t wait to welcome you to the flock.
