You found a baby bird. What do you do?  It depends…

Many times people turn to Red Rock Audubon for help when they find a baby bird out of its nest.  However, Red Rock Audubon doesn’t have rescue or rehabilitation facilities.  We do have caring individuals who would advise you to follow the guidance given by the Nevada Department of Wildlife.

When You Should-and Should Not-Rescue Baby Birds


​The robin fledgling above was found in a yard in Henderson.  It was placed in the bushes for protection.  The momma bird was nearby and anxious to take care of her baby.
